Small Hospital Group Abruptly Closes All Locations, Customers and Staff Blindsided

MY PETS WELLNESS (MPW), a small network of veterinary hospitals, has recently abruptly CLOSED all locations “due to an unexpected and overwhelming financial situation that left us with no other option but to shut down operations right away” according to Vet Candy — the closure has left many pet owners and veterinary professionals in shock. The company previously operated approximately 13 practice locations across 5 states including Florida (3), South Carolina (2), Tennessee (7), and Texas (1). The hospital group is backed by private equity firm Cold Bore Capital.

NOTICE POSTED ON HOSPITAL WEBSITE:
Company website is inactive and only displays the following message.

  • “My Pets Wellness Has Ceased Operations. We regret to inform you that My Pets Wellness will be ceasing all operations immediately. For medical records requests, please leave a voicemail at 855-461-8259, or send an email to [email protected]. All current appointments will be canceled effective immediately. Pets currently in boarding at our Dallas location will continue to be cared for until the end of the reservation, however, no new reservations will be taken. For pets being boarded at our Dallas location, please call (972) 666-8937 to contact the local site.”
