The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) has recently decided to halt it’s 2015 America’s Favorite Veterinarian Contest due to cyber-bullying. All 20 finalist have been declared
“America’s Favorite Veterinarians”.
The AVMF is the charitable arm of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) which is one of the oldest and largest veterinary medical organizations in the world consisting of currently more than 80,000 members.
The contest celebrates the relationships pet owners share with their veterinarians and highlights other pivotal roles veterinarians may play in society such as in animal health research, public health, government services and academia.
