A new 24-hour virtual veterinary service recently launched in the San Francisco Bay Area and will enable pet-owners to receive on-demand veterinarian consultations via their mobile device. The Vet24seven mobile app launched on July 10, 2015 and is currently available to pet-owners in the Bay Area and plans to roll-out the program nationwide within the next 18 months.

Veterinary consultations are available for domestic pets, larger animals including horses or cows, and exotics such as birds and iguanas.

Consultations are available via video or chat through your smartphone. Simply, download the free mobile app from the Apple App Store or visit the Vet24seven website. The Android version will be available later in 2015.
