The California Veterinary Medical Board has recently decided to table proposed rules which would require a veterinarian to be present when providing animal rehabilitation services according to KGTV 10NEWS.
The proposed rules were seeking to mandate that animal rehabilitation be performed only by a veterinarian or a licensed physical therapist (PT) or registered veterinary technician (RVT) working under the direct supervision of a veterinarian.
The Board sent the rule back to the Multidisciplinary Advisory Committee for further study.
