Banfield Pet Hospital, the world’s largest veterinary practice recently released The State of Pet Health 2016 Report which analyzes trends from the past 10 years and highlights the most common diagnoses affecting cats and dogs.

The report is based on medical data analyzed from about 3 million total pets (2.5 million dogs and nearly 500,000 cats) cared for in 2015 at Banfield’s 925 hospitals throughout 43 states, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
