Our RESEARCH shows that the vast majority of corporate-owned veterinary practices that are non-branded, fail to communicate changes in ownership on their individual practice websites to pet owners. Corporate consolidators generally view the corporatization of a practice as a marketing liability — may purposely avoid corporate ownership identification and hide ownership.

A non-branded veterinary practice maintains the original branding, the local brand that existed prior to the acquisition by the corporate consolidator.

VERIFIED™ is currently only available for corporate-owned veterinary practices located in the state of Arizona — additional states will be available in the future.
